Contracts Manager (Safety Defects)

Our client, a prominent entity in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to manage road safety defect projects in Surrey and London. We're seeking individuals with direct safety defect experience across road maintenance projects in the UK, and individuals with a strong commercial background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing contracts related to road safety engineering projects
• Ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
• Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules
• Monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Utilising InRoads software for design and project implementation
• Providing regular progress reports to senior management
• Addressing any contract-related issues promptly and efficiently

Job Requirements:

• Experience in contract management within the engineering sector
• Understanding of road safety principles and practices
• Proficiency in using InRoads software
• Roads Maintenance experience
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Relevant engineering or project management qualification is preferred
