Job description

Our client, a leader in the public sector, is currently seeking a Senior SAP Manufacturing & EWM Specialist for an 18-month contract role. This opportunity, based in Reading, is outside IR35 and involves joining a dynamic team to lead SAP S/4HANA implementations with a focus on Manufacturing and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearheading SAP projects from initiation to completion
• Configuring SAP Manufacturing (PP, QM, PM) and EWM modules
• Leveraging advanced ABAP programming skills, including Fiori/UI5
• Optimising end-to-end manufacturing and warehouse processes
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Experience in SAP projects, including a full-cycle greenfield implementation
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Manufacturing and EWM modules
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Strong problem-solving and project management abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• SAP certifications are a plus

Technical Skills:

• Mastery in SAP Manufacturing and EWM
• Proficiency in ABAP, Fiori, and UI5
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and Activate methodology
• Integration expertise with other SAP modules
