Job description
This role, located in Barrow under hybrid arrangements, will play a vital role in the Defence & Security sector, particularly within Defence operations. This contract role is envisioned to last 6 months with a potential for extension or transition to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, monitoring, and control processes for submarine projects.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Implement project management methodologies and best practices.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and plans.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status reports.
- Identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and security protocols.
- Manage stakeholder communications and expectations effectively.
