Job description
Our client, a premier organisation in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Systems Electronics - Equipment Authority to join their dynamic team in either Stevenage or Bristol. This is a permanent position with a blend of on-site and remote working opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of lifecycle management for weapon system electronics and processing equipment.
- Manage from design queries to manufacturing delivery to support the Land Ceptor team's objectives.
- Coordinate internal design and manufacturing teams, as well as external suppliers.
- Drive product evolution to address obsolescence, enable technology insertion, and optimise designs for export deliveries.
- Support the British Army in maximising their Ground-Based Air Defence capabilities.
- Incorporate new ideas, functionality, and technology to meet customer needs.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in ATE Design and Systems Design.
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and within a team.
- Proven track record of delivering and supporting complex hardware to cost and schedule.
- Capability to manage multiple varied tasks effectively within a larger strategic context.
- Experience in product optimisation, industrialisation, and obsolescence management.
- British Citizen or Dual National with British Citizenship is required for security clearance.
