Job description

Our client, a dedicated IT company, is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Web Developer to join their Web Development team. This permanent opportunity offers the successful candidate the chance to work within a growing web team, utilising a range of web technologies across the full stack. The team focuses on improving and enhancing web-oriented product offerings to deliver an ambitious digital roadmap for their diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing efficient code using best practices for software development
• Building websites and web apps from the ground up using C#, JavaScript, Vue JS, React, Angular, Knockout
• Collaborating with Programmers and Web Designers to create a website that matches the visual design intent
• Communicating with business colleagues to gather and refine requirements and specifications
• Researching and utilising various software programs
• Creating and maintaining documentation for software used
• Improving and enhancing websites post-creation

Job Requirements:

• Experience in web development with a strong command of asp.net
• Proficiency in C#, Javascript, Vue/Angular/React
• Understanding of MVC pattern, REST APIs, and asp.net controllers
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO)
• Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferable
