Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative DCS Software Configuration: Translate client design documentation, such as user requirement specifications and control philosophies, into cutting-edge DCS software configurations.
- Alarm Rationalisation Mastery: Apply your deep understanding of EEMUA 191 to optimise alarm systems.
- Advanced Process Control Programming: Develop software for both continuous and batch process control, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- Safety Expertise: Engage in functional safety SIL classifications and SIF calculations, safeguarding the integrity of systems.
- Comprehensive Design and Implementation: Lead or supervise detailed design processes, function block programming, and the implementation of safety systems SIFs for logic solvers.
- Impact Analysis and Safety System Modifications: Perform impact analyses and modify existing safety systems to meet the highest standards.
- Testing and Project Closure: Oversee internal testing, lead Factory Acceptance Tests, manage site installations, and ensure efficient Site Acceptance Tests. Complete all necessary documentation and formalise project closures with precision.
Job Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in a similar role within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial automation sectors.
- Certifications: Hold a TUV Functional Safety Certificate or have equivalent demonstrable knowledge.
- Educational Background: Minimum HNC qualification in engineering or a process-related discipline.
- Standards Proficiency: Practical knowledge of management systems such as ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO45001.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license required.
- Professional Attributes: Highly motivated, flexible, and ready to work at various sites across the UK and offshore.
- Core Values: Embody respect, collaboration, and integrity in all aspects of your work.
- Preferred Qualifications: Offshore certificates are highly desirable; however, full training will be provided if needed.
