Job description

This role involves delivering strategic client-side activities for the asset management service, particularly focusing on statutory disrepair cases relating to the repairs service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering strategic client-side activities for the asset management service
• Handling statutory disrepair cases and ensuring compliance with the relevant procedures
• Engaging with key stakeholders to achieve quality and consistency in service delivery
• Providing instructions and guidance to internal and external contractor staff
• Ensuring work is completed on time, to a high specification, and in accordance with Health and Safety standards
• Managing potential disrepairs, statutory nuisance, structural repairs, and insurance claims professionally

Job Requirements:

• Qualified surveyor familiar with the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018
• Full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Valid asbestos awareness certificate
• Experience in building pathology, particularly issues of dampness
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety standards
• Capable of supervising and providing guidance to contractor staff in various locations
