Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SISS Design Engineer to jump on a project for a major rail infrastructure project with one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of various systems including CCTV, Public Address (PA), Customer Information Systems (CIS), and Access Control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of SISS (Station Information and Surveillance Systems) for the project.
• Develop and review designs in accordance with GRIP 5 and some GRIP 4 stages.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed design drawings and documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SISS design engineering, particularly in rail infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software and design engineering principles.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, PA, CIS, and Access Control systems.
• Familiarity with GRIP 4 and GRIP 5 design stages.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
