Job description

Our client, operating in the Public sector, is seeking a Junior Structures Engineer for a contract position within their Structural Engineering department. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and development of bridge structures and other essential infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting senior engineers in the design and assessment of bridge structures
• Conducting site inspections and investigations to gather data
• Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and design documentation
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Contributing to project planning and scheduling activities

Job Requirements:

• Experience or understanding of bridge engineering
• Basic knowledge of structural design principles
• Ability to conduct site inspections and gather data effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or equivalent qualification
