Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting mechanical fitting and maintenance on marine vessels
• Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with other team members to achieve project objectives
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed
• Documenting all maintenance activities and reporting any issues
• Adhering to work schedules and completing tasks within allocated timeframes

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical fitting experience, preferably within the marine or offshore sector
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in mechanical fitting
• Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC)
• Flexible to work 12-hour days, including travel time
• Experience with PAYE or Umbrella company working arrangements

• Certain in date courses/cards are required for the role and the client will arrange as necessary, a slightly lower rate may be applicable during this process depending on what is required.
• PAYE - £30/ plus £3.62/h holiday pay (which can be accrued or advanced)
• Umb co - £39.44/h
