Title: Finance Administrator
Location: Fawley Refinery, Marsh Lane, Southampton, SO45 1TX
Type: Ongoing contract || 37.5 hours || Onsite
Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is currently seeking an Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adding purchase order numbers to invoices
- Managing daily office operations and providing administrative support to various departments
- Handling correspondence, including emails and phone calls, in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining and updating records, databases, and filing systems
- Organising and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required
- Assisting with procurement and inventory management
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in administration or a related field
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of administrative processes in the energy sector is advantageous
