Job description

Title: Finance Administrator

Location: Fawley Refinery, Marsh Lane, Southampton, SO45 1TX

Type: Ongoing contract || 37.5 hours || Onsite

Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is currently seeking an Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adding purchase order numbers to invoices
  • Managing daily office operations and providing administrative support to various departments
  • Handling correspondence, including emails and phone calls, in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintaining and updating records, databases, and filing systems
  • Organising and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required
  • Assisting with procurement and inventory management
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administration or a related field
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of administrative processes in the energy sector is advantageous
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
