Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilising Microdrainage software for designing and assessing drainage systems
• Working on highway design projects including both local and national schemes
• Collaborating with team members to ensure designs are completed to a high standard and within project timelines
• Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
• Coordinating with external stakeholders
• Conducting site evaluations and inspections as required
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in drainage engineering within the highways sector
• Strong proficiency in using Microdrainage software
• Proven track record in highways design projects
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to local and national highways
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication abilities for liaising with stakeholders
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
