Job description

Our client, a key player in the fintech and banking investment sector, is seeking two skilled C# .NET Developers for an exciting contract opportunity. This role is ideal for technology enthusiasts eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects within the banking and investment technology landscape.

• C# and .NET: Proficiency in C# programming language and understanding of the .NET Framework and .NET 6+ ecosystem.
• Web technologies:
  • Infrastructure: Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, SSL/TLS and related technologies such as proxies, firewalls, etc.
  • OpenID Connect and OAuth: Understanding of authentication and authorisation protocols for secure user authentication.
  • Back-end development: Knowledge of ASP.NET Core for building RESTful APIs and web applications.
  • Front-end development: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and NodeJS knowledge would be a bonus.
  • SignalR: Familiarity with real-time communication using SignalR.
• Cloud technologies: Some exposure to Azure cloud technologies, primarily Redis, SignalR and Entra ID.
• Database management: Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server) and Entity Framework Core for data access.

• Able to work in a team and exchange and discuss complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Banking experience is an advantage - especially around Commodities;
• Good communication skills - both written & spoken;
• Self-motivated, proactive and independent person;
• Knowledge and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
