Job description

Our client, a leading player in the Technology sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled PSV Java Developer and Support professional to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced backend developer with expertise in Java and JavaScript to contribute to a cloud-based Microservices project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coding, unit testing, PR review/approval
• Progression and management of code through environments into production
• Mentoring and developing team members
• Developing and supporting services within a large, complex Microservices-based architecture
• Working within a Scrum team

Job Requirements:

• Strong experience in Java development (Java 8+)
• Proficiency in backend development, including JavaScript
• Experience with Maven, Spring Boot, Guice, Junit, and Postgres
• Knowledge of SCM tools such as Bitbucket/GIT
• Understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI tools like Jenkins
• Eligibility for CTC or SC clearance (existing clearance preferable)
• EU/EEA/Switzerland/Turkey citizenship or permanent residency in the UK with indefinite leave to remain
