Job description

Our client, a dynamic team in the Formula 1 industry, is currently seeking a Quality Inspector - Team Leader to join their vibrant workplace in Enstone, Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a prestigious automotive OEM environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all Inspectors within the team and allocate work appropriately
• Ensure team members are clear on their daily activities and provide coaching to achieve goals
• Support staff selection, performance, development, and training processes
• Inspect components using appropriate inspection techniques to department standards
• Verify material and treatment documentation is accurate and aligns with technical specifications
• Scrutinise and adjust work schedules to resolve scheduling and inspection quality issues

Job Requirements:

• Proven leadership skills and experience in developing cohesive teams
• Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols
• Proficient in current department measurement technology, including CMM
• Ability to remain focused and meet strict deadlines under pressure
• Excellent organisational, communication, and attention to detail skills
• Enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork
