Job description
About the Role:
In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the safety of our projects and programs across various domains, including system, software, and hardware. Working under the guidance of the Project Safety Assurance Manager (PSAM), you will contribute to the safety analysis, reporting, and assurance processes that keep our products and systems safe and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety analyses following strict safety processes and guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and development of Safety Reports and Safety Cases.
- Apply safety assurance methodologies such as risk assessment, verification, and validation.
- Participate in periodic Safety Reviews and help close out findings from internal and external assessments.
- Ensure compliance with safety processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Performance Metrics:
- Achieve "GO" status in Safety Gate Reviews.
- Minimize rework from internal and external assessment findings.
- Deliver high-quality inputs for safety assessments and reviews.
- Ensure timely identification and resolution of safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Advanced University or Engineering degree. Proficiency in English, particularly in reading and writing technical documentation.
- Knowledge in System, Electrical, Electronics, or Electromechanical Engineering. Understanding of Hardware and/or Software systems.
Experience:
- Open to beginners in safety assurance with relevant domain-specific experience (System, Data Preparation, Hardware, or Software).
- Familiarity with Cenelec Standards for Safety or equivalent standards (AREMA, IEEE). At least two years of experience in safety assurance for complex projects is a plus.
