Job description

We are looking Java Backend Engineers experienced in IaC to join one of the most important companies in the automotive sector in Europe. Join a dinamic team on a permanent basis and work with cutting-edge techologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing cloud and microservice business solutions on various platforms to meet user needs and business requirements.
• Concepting development, architectural reviews, development, and operations.
• Developing, deploying, and maintaining automotive backend microservices based on Java, JavaScript, or Python, powered by AWS.
• Utilising DevOps principles to create, test, and deploy backend solutions and internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
• Contributing to technology and architectural decisions.
• Collaborating with your team and other teams on backend and tool development queries.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a related role.
• Experience with backend development using Java and other technologies such as Node.js, focusing on RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture and integration (Kafka), and testing (JUnit, Mockito, ElasticMQ or similar).
• Knowledge of Cloud environments.
• Experience with mainframe integration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, or CDK.
• Experience in Microservices.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of database design.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
