Job description


Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager and two Project Engineers to join their team due to an urgent need to implement various non-infrastructure schemes across the region for Anglian Water. This is a permanent opportunity with availability for part-time or temporary positions that could lead to permanent roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the lifecycle of water-related projects from initial planning through to completion
  • Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Implementing mechanical solutions and ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements
  • Monitoring project progress, managing budgets, and reporting on project status
  • Providing technical support and guidance to project teams
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies
  • Problem-solving and addressing any issues that arise during the project execution
  • Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships through effective communication

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in project management or project engineering within the water sector
  • Strong mechanical background; knowledge of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) is beneficial
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
