Our client, a key player in the rail industry, is seeking experienced P-Way Technicians for a long-term contract role based in Kent. This position involves routine inspections and maintenance of permanent way infrastructure, ensuring the safety and functionality of the rail network. The role offers mid-week days with possible weekend overtime, providing a stable and challenging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance activities on permanent way infrastructure
• Identifying and checking faults and hazards
• Collaborating with team members to rectify issues
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed and records are maintained accurately
• Following all Health and Safety procedures

Job Requirements:

• Experience in P-Way maintenance
• Strong knowledge of maintenance equipment and techniques
• Current PTS/Sentinel ticket
• COSS competence preferred
• Competency in TR06 Track Inspection, TR07 053 detailed switch inspection, and TR07 054 detailed crossing inspection
• UK Driving Licence
