About the Role

• Manage a small team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of work packages with minimal supervision.
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables, technical checking, budget monitoring, and commercial project management.
• Guide and develop your team through training, feedback, and mentorship.
• Lead engineering design of temporary and permanent works on both small and large projects, ensuring the right solution is provided the first time.
• Lead technical discussions with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to technical briefs and work requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Postgraduate qualifications in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience.
• Chartered status in civil or structural engineering with membership in professional bodies.
• Proven tunnelling and underground space experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills.
• Experience in BIM and other design software.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
• Strong commercial track record.
