About the Role
- Manage a small team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of work packages with minimal supervision.
- Ensure timely submission of deliverables, technical checking, budget monitoring, and commercial project management.
- Guide and develop your team through training, feedback, and mentorship.
- Lead engineering design of temporary and permanent works on both small and large projects, ensuring the right solution is provided the first time.
- Lead technical discussions with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to technical briefs and work requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduate qualifications in civil or structural engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience.
- Chartered status in civil or structural engineering with membership in professional bodies.
- Proven tunnelling and underground space experience on major infrastructure projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills.
- Experience in BIM and other design software.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Strong commercial track record.
