About Us:
We are seeking a skilled Acquisition Safety & Environmental Protection (ASEP) Manager to join our ITS-SED multi-discipline team. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Ministry of Defence's (MOD) safety and environmental protection activities, ensuring compliance with key policies, regulations, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As an ASEP Manager, you will:

  • Operate as an effective MOD safety and environmental protection manager or support related activities.
  • Implement MOD's Project Oriented Safety Management System (POSMS) and Project Oriented Environmental Management System (POEMS).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable military regulations, defence standards, and MOD policy.
  • Contribute to the DE&S aspects of in-service capability management.
  • Develop compliance arguments for environmental standards, including relevant legislation, regulations, and MOD-specific requirements.
  • Facilitate Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) reviews and assessments.
  • Lead technical discussions and communicate effectively across all levels within the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognized practitioner or higher status by an environmental professional body.
  • Experience in applying MOD policies and processes, particularly POEMS.
  • Proven track record in developing compliance arguments against environmental standards, including legislation and defence regulations.
  • Strong ability to facilitate SQEP body reviews and assessments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide technical discussions.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the Air Domain.
  • Degree or higher qualification in an environmental-related discipline.
