Job description

Our client is currently seeking a DM Manager to join their team in the South West. This is a contract role with an initial duration of six monthsand scope to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing development management processes
• Ensuring compliance with town planning regulations and guidelines
• Coordinating with stakeholders, including developers, architects, and local authorities
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports on planning applications
• Conducting site visits and assessments as required
• Providing expert advice on planning policies and development control
• Mediating and resolving conflicts related to planning applications
• Monitoring project timelines and ensuring efficient delivery of services

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Development Management and Town Planning
• Strong understanding of planning legislation and regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in report writing and presentation
• Relevant qualification in town planning or a related field
• Experience working within a local government setting is advantageous
