Job description

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector for a contract position at a Power Station in Morecambe. This role involves ensuring quality and electrical compliance within the plant, particularly focusing on transformer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspecting electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Providing electrical Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) oversight
• Documenting and reporting inspection results
• Ensuring proper installation and functioning of transformers
• Identifying and addressing any issues or non-conformities
• Collaborating with team members to maintain high standards of safety and quality
• Maintaining detailed records and providing updates to project managers

Job Requirements:

• Experience in electrical inspection and quality assurance within the nuclear sector
• Comprehensive knowledge of transformer systems
• Proven expertise in electrical Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) practices
• Familiarity with EDF Power Station operations preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Availability to start mid-November and commit until March
• Able to obtain CTC or BPSS clearance
