Job description


Our client, a prominent organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Expenses Administrator for a contract role within their Shared Services unit. This hybrid position, based in Preston, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial administration in a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and reconcile employee expense accounts
  • Work to recover any money owed to the business
  • Perform creditor and debtor reporting
  • Produce and analyse KPIs
  • Complete tasks as per the weekly task list/schedule of events
  • Ensure defined financial controls are observed and report any fails to the team leader or manager
  • Attend customer surgeries and meetings as required

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in administration processes and tasks
  • Strong understanding of expense account reconciliation and financial controls
  • Adept at using multiple ERP systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reports
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interactions
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
