Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing robust backend services and APIs using NodeJS
• Working closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver an ambitious digital roadmap
• Ensuring the scalability and performance of server-side applications
• Conducting code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues
• Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
• Mentoring and supporting junior developers within the team

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in backend development with a focus on NodeJS
• Strong understanding of server-side architecture and web protocols
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and development
• Experience with database management and optimisation
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerisation technologies like Docker
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Relevant computer science degree or equivalent qualification
