As a Human Factors Specialist, you will work under the guidance of the Lead HFI Specialist, contributing to the successful delivery of User-Centred Design activities within the Aerospace industry.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead HFI Specialist in integrating Human Factors into the TRINITY design process.
- Engage with end-user groups and stakeholders through workshops, trials, and User-Centred Design activities.
- Conduct analyses such as allocation of function, task analysis, and usability assessments.
- Evaluate prototypes and mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions.
- Contribute to customer deliverables by producing detailed reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or a related field.
- Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or equivalent eligibility).
- At least five years of Human Factors experience in the defence or safety-critical sectors.
- A proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams on complex system integration projects.
Additional Information:
This role requires attendance at the BAES Christchurch office three days a week.
