Job description
Job Description:
Our client has several positions available within their composite assembly manufacturing team to support the 2025 F1 car build. These roles involve producing composite parts and assemblies for a Formula One team, focusing on tooling, trimming, and bonding various composite components.
The role is set to begin in January 2025 and run through August, following a night shift pattern.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Produce parts in full compliance with engineering drawings.
- Ensure all parts conform to specific instruction sheets.
- Inspect completed components.
- Trim and assemble carbon fiber components.
- Handle the initial assembly of new car parts.
- Service items from races and tests.
- Prepare parts for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Ability to read engineering drawings and an engineering skills background.
- Strong practical skills.
- Experience with trimming and assembling carbon fiber is essential.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Basic PC literacy.
