Job description

Our client, a prominent company in the Building Control sector, is looking for a Registered Building Inspector - London Class 3 to join their team. This permanent role will focus primarily on commercial schemes, with some high-rise residential projects. The successful applicant will have the flexibility to work from home full time, attending site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting inspections and surveys of building projects to ensure compliance with regulations
• Providing detailed reports on the findings of inspections and surveys
• Advising on compliance with building standards and regulations for both commercial and residential projects
• Liaising with developers, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide technical support and guidance
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation of all inspections and related activities
• Attending site visits as needed to assess ongoing construction works
• Collaborating with the Building Control team to maintain high standards of service

Job Requirements:

• Registered Building Inspector with Class 3 qualification
• Experience in Building Control, especially in commercial and residential projects
• In-depth knowledge of building regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
