Job description

Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join their team in Gosport, Hampshire. The company specialises in developing and manufacturing an extensive range of LED-based aircraft external lighting products. This permanent role requires you to work 37 hours per week over a four-day period, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks
• Engage in wiring, soldering, and crimping activities
• Utilise sealants, adhesives, and potting compounds
• Maintain job cards and ensure material traceability during build activities

Job Requirements:

• Experience in building electrical and mechanical assemblies, ideally within the aviation industry
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Competence in wiring, soldering, and crimping
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits and wiring standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Preferably IPC Certified to J-STD-001
