Job description

Role Overview:
As a PLC Controls and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning automation systems for a variety of industrial applications. You will work with some of the world's leading manufacturing and automation technologies, focusing on Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and program PLC systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff platforms.
- Commission, troubleshoot, and optimise automation systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
- Perform site commissioning and on-site support, ensuring successful system integration and performance.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and in-house teams.
- Document processes, electrical schematics, and technical reports.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in programming and commissioning Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff PLC systems.
- Strong understanding of automation control systems, including HMIs, SCADA, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred.
