Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Contractor Engineering Manager (CEM) to join their dynamic team for a six-month initial contract. This contract position falls outside IR35 regulations and presents an opportunity to work with a company boasting a growing work bank and a reputation for excellence in rail infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and agreeing engineering processes and deliverables for projects
- Preparing and managing design reviews
- Arranging and attending meetings with colleagues, design teams, clients, and associated third parties
- Reviewing documentation, including Task Briefs (TB's), Work Package Plans (WPP's), and design specifics
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a CEM on rail infrastructure projects
- Strong engineering management skills
- Ability to effectively develop and agree on engineering processes and deliverables
- Proficiency in preparing and managing design reviews
- Competence in arranging and participating in meetings with various stakeholders
- Experience in reviewing detailed documentation
- Sentinel competency
- Degree in an engineering discipline
- Previously held CEM status
