Location: Hedge End
Contract Type: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Pay Rate: £12.20 per hour (rising to £12.50 per hour after 12 weeks)

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Stores Operative to join a busy logistics team. The role involves managing dispatch operations to ensure completed products are delivered efficiently to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the production team with the dispatch of products.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders.
• Manage stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
• Utilise computer systems to maintain inventory records.
• Handle goods inwards and goods outwards processes.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Experience working in a Stores environment is essential.
• Familiarity with computer systems for inventory management.
• Self-sufficient with strong logical thinking.
• A forklift license is preferable, but not essential.

Contract Details:

• Contract Duration: Initially 6 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
• Pay Rate: Starting at £12.20 per hour, increasing to £12.50 per hour after 12 weeks.
