Job description

Our client, a leading defence and security firm, is currently seeking a Quality Engineer - Relocation to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work on critical projects supporting all phases of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all core Product Assurance activities are met throughout the product lifecycle
• Act as the voice of the customer, supporting the delivery of expectations for a global client base
• Network within and oversee various activities across all sites
• Work on multi-national projects and prevent and minimise product non-conformance
• Support smooth equipment delivery and assure product reliability
• Collaborate with domestic and international colleagues on technology transfer projects
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Enhance customer satisfaction through effective quality assurance practices

Job Requirements:

• HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with QA problem-solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.)
• Self-motivation, autonomy, and excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence change and work respectfully in a matrix organisation
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, SAP QM, and document management tools
• Continuous improvement awareness and initiative
• Understanding and respect for cultural differences
