Job description

Our client, a prominent provider in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This role is situated within the Submarines business unit, operating from the Barrow site with hybrid working arrangements for 2 days a week on-site. This position is integral to the Engineering function and offers a six-month duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Updating the offline CAM Cost Model
• Managing work package including opening and closing cost charges in SAP
• Handling weekly labour and material bookings to CAM accounts
• Following up on unapproved and unreleased timesheets
• Conducting monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis
• Producing CAM Packs for reviews and loading onto SharePoint
• Reviewing and reducing historic commitments on purchase orders
• Managing risk reviews per CAM area and raising new risks/opportunities
• Reviewing the Baseline plan for errors and making necessary corrections
• Raising Performance Measurement Baseline Change Requests (PMBCRs)
• Updating PMBCR Cost Tracker and Team PMBCR Tracker
• Conducting '3 Month Look Ahead' reviews on the current plan with planners

Job Requirements:

• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience using SAP would be a bonus
• Strong administration skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide information to all levels and investigate discrepancies
