Job description

Our client, a leading company in the renewables sector, is currently seeking several AUV Technicians/ Surveyors/ Supervisors for an exciting contract opportunity in the offshore windfarm industry. This role is set to commence mid-November and will involve working on high-profile projects with Saipem and Total. Mobilisation will be from Italy, but Italian language skills are not required and open to applications across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) in offshore windfarm environments
• Conducting pre and post-deployment checks and ensuring the operational readiness of AUVs
• Assisting with launching and recovering AUVs from offshore support vessels
• Monitoring AUV operations and ensuring data acquisition meets project specifications
• Collaborating with supervisors and surveyors to ensure the accuracy of underwater surveys
• Troubleshooting and repairing AUV equipment as needed
• Maintaining detailed logs and records of AUV operations and maintenance activities

Job Requirements:

• Experience as an AUV Technician, ROV Technician, or ASV Technician
• Proficiency in operating AUVs within the renewables sector, particularly offshore windfarms
• Familiarity with relevant software such as Kansburg, GAVIA, and AUGIN
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety at all times
