Job description

Our client, a leading contractor in the infrastructure and utilities sector, is currently seeking Ground workers, General Operatives, and Skilled Operators for ongoing projects based in South West Water in Cornwall. This role will focus on a range of water works, including excavation, installation, and site preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and clearance of construction areas
• Excavation, pipe laying, and installation of water infrastructure
• Adhering to health and safety standards on site
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Assisting skilled trades persons and performing general site duties

Job Requirements:

• CSCS Green or Blue Skilled Worker Card for ground workers is essential
• Proven experience in groundwork, construction, or water infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in construction
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Construction relevant certifications or tickets (preferred)
