Job description

Our client, a distinguished player in the nuclear industry, is seeking a skilled Planner to join their team on a 12-month contract based in Reading. This role requires SC Clearance and proficiency in Primavera P6. Experience in the nuclear sector is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6
• Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays or deviations
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure the effective implementation of project plans
• Conducting regular schedule reviews and updates to reflect actual project status
• Providing accurate and timely project status reports to stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
• Identifying and managing project risks and issues
• Supporting project teams with scheduling expertise and advice

Job Requirements:

• Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 software
• Experience in the nuclear industry preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in schedule management
• Ability to work effectively within a project team environment
• Understanding of project management principles and practices
