Job description

BAE Systems is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in Outfit engineering to join their team in Scotstoun. This is a contract role with a duration of 12 months, offering the opportunity to contribute to critical maritime projects. The role features hybrid working options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing outfit engineering solutions for maritime naval ships
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that outfit engineering integrates seamlessly with overall ship design
• Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
• Conducting assessments and providing recommendations for outfit engineering improvements
• Participating in project meetings and providing technical insights
• Supporting project delivery within the schedule and budget constraints
