Our client, operating in the water sector, is currently seeking an experienced EICA Commissioning Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in the Nottingham/Derby area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems within water sector projects
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with electrical and safety standards
• Collaborating with project teams to develop commissioning plans and schedules
• Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
• Providing technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders
• Preparing and maintaining detailed commissioning documentation and reports
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Liaising with clients and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects

Job Requirements:

• Experience in electrical commissioning within the water sector
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• 18th Edition Electrical qualification
• First aid certification
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
