The Role
Lead the Quality Department and the compliance/conformance and management of the company and its subsidiaries companies' Business Management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), future iterations and other associated standard which facilitate the company's ability to improve its business.

Key Responsibilities

Product Compliance/Homologation
* Product COP Clearance
* APQP, PPAP, PSW, MSA, SPC, IMDS Support & Approval (Supplier & Customer)

Quality Management
* Lead the compliance and management of the company and subsidiary companies' ISO 9001 Management system, future iterations and other associated standard i.e. 14001, 45001, 50001, 22301 and integration of associated standards, such as TS16949 as agreed.
* Support the Compliance Officer & Legal Administrator in compliance and management of ISO 27001.
* Obtain commitment from the management team and stakeholder in supporting the 9001 management system and other associated standards
* Lead subsidiaries in rolling out groups 9001 processes, scaling them where appropriate.
* Lead the customer complaint log and resolutions.

General
* Manage the Quality Team (Globally)
* Support & Advise Board/Management Team, Subsidiaries & Staff on all matters pertinent to the above compliance & conformance requirements.
* Ensure internal audits are performed for relevant standards to ensure company process are implemented and improved.
* Ensure external audits are performed and supported maintaining relevant approval
* Report as required to the management team in line with relevant standards
* Lead the development of associated processes and practises driving efficiency * Lead the departments Lesson Learnt and continuous improvement programme * Supporting the Supplier Acquisition and Management team in Supplier assessment and approval.
* Member of the Department Management team.
* KPI reporting
* Quality Issues - containment, inspection, root cause analysis and resolution.
* Quality Inspection at the suppliers & the company's locations.

Key Tasks
Management of Quality Team at all sites.
* Management of supplier quality and inspections
* Conformity of Production (CoP).
* Support & manage where required supplier liaison, NPI, ECR's and QI.
* Support customer specific quality related objectives.
* Training on 9001, H&S Environmental & Energy
* Health & Safety Environmental & Energy Management reporting
* Audits (internal and External) and audit schedules
* Process improvement
* Complaint log and resolution
* DSE Workstation assessment/COSHH
* Disposal of hazardous material
* Travel to subsidiaries on an as required basis.

Candidate Specification

APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK VISA (no sponsorship available)

Education and Training
1. Degree in relevant field of expertise
2. NVQ/City & Guilds or similar in Quality Management.
3. National diploma in OHS
4. 5-6 GCSE's at Grade C or above, including Maths and English and can demonstrate a high level of numeracy and literacy
5. Qualified auditor
6. Above average computer literacy
7. Sound business acumen.

Experience & Skills
1. Minimum 3 years practical experience managing and leading ISO 9001 compliance in a B2C & B2B environment.
2. Extensive knowledge of ISO9001
3. Understanding of ISO 27001, 14001 & 22301
4. Minimum of 3 years management experience managing a small team
5. Minimum of 1 years internal audit experience.
6. Computer application skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
7. Genuine interest in quality and process improvement.
8. Able to demonstrate strong co-ordination skills

Desirable
5 years Management & practical experience within an Automotive quality engineering position.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 Implemented and managed ISO 45001, 27001, 14001 & 22301

Communication & language skills
1. High level of communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management and customers.
2. Very clear spoken English is critical.
