Job description

Our client, a prominent consultancy within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an MBSE Specialist to join their GCAP Programme on a contract basis. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a key initiative within a highly specialised area of systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies within the GCAP Programme
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful integration of systems engineering processes
• Creating and managing system models and simulations to support project objectives
• Providing technical expertise and guidance on MBSE best practices
• Contributing to the development of systems engineering documentation and technical reports
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations within the Defence & Security sector
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify project requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Participating in project meetings and reviews, presenting findings and progress updates

Job Requirements:

• Experience in systems engineering within the Defence & Security sector
• Proficiency in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of relevant standards and regulations in the Defence & Security industry
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment
• Relevant engineering or technical degree or equivalent qualification
