Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing detailed designs for a local authority single carriageway project
• Working on various shcmes using OpenRoads software
• Collaborating with the team to ensure all project requirements are met
• Conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with local and national standards
• Attending meetings in the office 1 or 2 days a week as required
• Producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation
• Managing workload to meet tight deadlines within a 40-hour work week

Job Requirements:

• Experience using OpenRoads Designer for highway projects
• Understanding of local authority road design standards
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to attend office meetings 1 or 2 days a week
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time
