Job description

Purpose:

• Manage and implement traffic management schemes.
• Ensure effective traffic engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet statutory and legal obligations.
• Provide expert advice on traffic management issues.
• Support the development and training of junior staff.
• Utilize CAD software for designing traffic management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage traffic management projects from conception to completion.
• Service Delivery: Develop and implement customer-focused traffic solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• CAD Design: Create and review traffic management designs using CAD software.
• Communication: Liaise with residents, stakeholders, and other parties to provide information and resolve issues.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of traffic management policies and strategies.
• Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in traffic management and engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software for traffic design.
• Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
