Job description
Our client, a prominent entity in the defence sector, is currently seeking a Product Security Verification and Validation Manager for a contract position. This role involves developing and implementing security testing strategies on a complex platform encompassing both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT).
As the Product Security Verification and Validation Manager, you will be responsible for the creation of the product security testing strategy, identifying and implementing the most effective approach to appropriate product security testing on a complex platform consisting of both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT). The role holder will Manage all product security testing serials for supplier Factory Acceptance Tests, and Harbour Acceptance Testing, ensuring the required level of product security assurance evidence is collated and documented to support the Security Management Plan and Risk Management Accreditation Document Set.
The Product Security Verification and Validation Manager will be required to quickly assimilate the pertinent factors of the project in order to successfully initiate, manage, document and ultimately deliver suitable product security evidence. They will need to be comfortable working with ambiguity and able to create effective policy and proven processes that can be effectively integrated into the FSS Programme testing strategy.
The Product Security Verification and Validation Manager will need to understand requirements management in a large defence project in order to appropriately identify and map the V&V activities relating to product security requirements for both physical and cyber domains across multiple technologies. The successful candidate will also be required to support wider security activities such as supplier compliance reviews, project documentation reviews, and contribute to articulating security assurance evidence to support the customer.
