Job description

This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of the certification process for Combat System software for in-service Submarines. Additional development opportunities within integration roles and potential moves into Submarine-system development, product development, and future combat system design activities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking test events on the Integration facility
• Developing test scripts and procedures to test Combat Systems
• Completion of routine maintenance on the Integration rigs
• Development of alternative test procedures and practices
• Providing specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in the testing of Submarine systems
• Ensuring design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools, and endorsed by the appropriate level of authority

Job Requirements:

• Experience of Submarine Combat applications
• Degree level qualification within an Engineering field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge and experience of Sonar capability
