Job description

Our client, an industry leader in the FMCG sector, is actively seeking four skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their dynamic team. This permanent role involves working on a range of electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on maintaining and optimising machinery and automation within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out maintenance on fillers, pumps, valves, and utilities
• Ensuring optimal performance of machinery and automation systems
• Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve operational efficiency
• Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns and implementing repairs
• Improving production processes through innovative maintenance solutions
• Participating in trade tests and walk rounds as part of the interview process
• Contributing to a safe and organised work environment

Job Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance within the FMCG sector, ideally with food industry experience
• Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems
• Multi-skilled engineering capabilities
• Strong background in machine operations and automation
• Ability to interact and work collaboratively with colleagues
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Understanding of maintenance for fillers, pumps, valves, and general utilities
