Our client is seeking an Active Travel Project Manager to support on the delivery on a number of Active Travel projects.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing active travel projects from inception to completion
• Ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of highway projects
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Providing both project and programme management services
• Supporting junior project managers and assistant project managers in their duties
• Preparing detailed project reports and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through excellent communication and service

Job Requirements:

• Experience in active travel project management within the highways sector
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of project and programme management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead and support a team, including assisting junior members
• Proficiency in preparing and analysing detailed project reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
