Job description

Our client, a prominent player in the defence sector, is seeking a Test Systems Technician to join their engineering team in Rochester on a contract basis for 12 months. This hybrid role will require you to be on-site 4 days per week, adhering to BPSS security requirements and ITAR restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support during the development and delivery of all aspects of digital and/or analogue designs from requirements development, concept and detailed design, through to product certification
• Working in a team environment to develop Test Equipment solutions that meet the complex and demanding requirements of the diverse products developed at the Rochester site

Job Requirements:

• Awareness and basic understanding of digital and/or analogue electronics technologies, design tools and techniques
• Proficiency in electronic circuits design, cable design and manufacture, commissioning and integration
• Practical electronics skills including circuit card assembly, soldering, and wiring
• Experience in the defence sector, particularly in electronics design
