Job description

Our client, a prominent organisation in the Life Sciences sector, is seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Global Responsibility. This role requires expertise in Project Management to effectively govern the relationship between staff in Madrid and the IT Department.

The primary aim is to manage the supply and demand of technological services and ensure IT projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the expected quality.

This position will manage projects within the IT sector of different kinds, for example: SAP, VoIP, Azure365, Networking, SQL Database, etc

We do not require someone with technical experience in each of these projects, but rather someone who manages them (times, deadlines, deliverables) together with each technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main liaison between users in Madrid and the IT department.
• Coordinate, lead, and oversee IT projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and timely delivery within defined budgets.
• Manage coordination and communication with various corporate IT teams, ensuring effective and smooth relations.
• Identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate, prioritise, and track requests for technological services.
• Supervise and ensure the correct identification and prioritisation of needs and opportunities.
• Manage the portfolio of ongoing projects within the operational scope, providing follow-up and reporting to stakeholders.
• Promote and foster cybersecurity awareness among all employees.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Degree in related fields (e.g., Information Systems, Informatics Engineering).
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience: Significant experience in IT Project&Demand Leader in the Pharma sector industries.
• Specific Knowledge: Project and IT demand management, systems and process analysis, technological architectures, information security. Knowledge of JIRA PM is a plus.
• Travels: Occasional travel required.
• Personal Skills: Negotiation, teamwork, conflict resolution, effective communication, proactive attitude, organisational abilities (This position does not have anyone in charge initially)
