Our client is searching for a Chartered Geologist to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working full time on-site for a high profile project between Bedford and Cambridge, starting in January.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting audits and checking the technical quality of logging, installations, and sampling
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Reviewing geotechnical reports and providing expert analysis
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the accurate execution of project tasks
• Coordinating with external stakeholders to facilitate project progress
• Undertaking PFAS sampling, SILc, and adhering to ROGEP standards

Job Requirements:

• Chartered Geologist status
• Experience in geotechnical engineering, particularly in auditing and quality control
• Familiarity with PFAS sampling and SILc procedures
• Understanding of ROGEP standards
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Effective communication skills for liaising with both internal teams and external partners
